2. Seth Rollins Unifies The WWE World And United States Championships
WWE World Heavyweight and United States Titles: Seth Rollins (c) vs. John Cena (c) Not a lot of people had faith in Seth Rollins going into SummerSlam, but boy were we surprised! As soon as it was revealed that John Cena was next in line for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Title, a large portion of the audience made a collective groan at the realisation that Rollins title reign was, assumingly, about to come to an end. This was made even more prevalent when Rollins busted Cenas nose with a misplaced knee. Its not uncommon for Cena to bounce back from a setback like this and win the big one. But as luck would have it, Seth Rollins brought his A-game in SummerSlams finest match-up, not only retaining the WWE World Heavyweight Title but also capturing the United States Championship for the first time, making him the first man ever to hold both titles at the same time. WWE 2K16 may not feature Jon Stewart to aid Rollins to victory, but its still a fantastic match and one that would make for some fine recreation in the new video game. You can even update Rollins white attire in the creation suite!
