It is the game mode that many wanted to see instead of another Attitude Era-centric mode WWE and 2K are giving us... But since the main feature of the game has pretty much been confirmed as Stone Cold's, what does it mean for the NXT superstars that have already been included in the game. Current NXT Womens Champion Sasha Banks was the first superstar to confirm herself in the new game. A fan sent Banks a harmless tweet asking if she was one of the wrestlers scanned for WWE 2K16. Banks replied with an excited: Yes I did. This could mean her promotion to the main roster will happen before the game is released, but if it isn't, could there be a smaller NXT mode in the game. Something along the lines of Who Got NXT that featured in WWE 2K15 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 which featured on five 'developmental' superstars. We need to know... NXT grapplers like Kevin Owens, Charlotte, Sami Zayn and potentially Samoa Joe (who has been working on the new game but in an unknown capacity) could also made the cut.
