WWE 2K16 Roster: Predicting All 120 Superstars In The Game
Stone Cold Mode
35. Stone Cold Steve Austin - You can't have a Stone Cold mode without the Rattlesnake himself. Now gimme a hell yeah! 34. Bret Hart - You can't do the Austin mode without the feud that elevated him to main event status. 33. Shawn Michaels - Already confirmed if those videos of Jim Ross and The King doing commentary for the Austin mode are accurate. 32. Mike Tyson - Was part of WWE '13 and you can't really do Austin's rise without him. 31. Mr McMahon - There's got to be some of Austin Vs. McMahon in there surely... 30. Shane McMahon - Shane was a prime time player during the whole Stone Cold/Vince saga. How cool would it be to see him back in the games? 29. Pat Patterson - One of the original stooges that helped Vince keep some modicum of control over WWE. An integral part of the Austin's most notable run. 28. Gerald Brisco - In the same boat as Pat. Imagine the ultimate stooge-off you could have by pitting the originals against J & J Security. 27. Brain Pillman - The odds on this happening are very short indeed as there would be issues with Pillman's family but he would be a popular choice in the eyes of Austin himself and the WWE Universe. That gun scene... 26 & 25. The Legion Of Doom (Hawk & Animal) - During those leaked videos of Ross and Lawler's commentary, they went on about Stone Cold and Shawn Michaels' time together as WWF Tag Team Champions. Their feud against The Legion Of Doom was a big part of the summer of 1997 WWF TV and given their legendary status, they should be part of this release anyway. 24. Jake 'The Snake' Roberts - King Of The Ring 1996. Enough said. 23. Mick Foley - The three faces of Foley all played pretty significant roles in Austin's Attitude Era run... 22. Booker T - Could well be at the commentator's desk (although Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are expected to be the partnership selected), but could also be part of the Stone Cold Steve Austin mode depending on how far it goes into the Texas Rattlesnake's run. Who could forget that supermarket scene? 21. JBL - Like Booker T, Bradshaw isn't expected to be behind the commentator's desk. Although he should be one of those playable 'legends', and could feature in the Stone Cold mode as part of the Ministry of Darkness alongside his fellow Acolyte... 20. Faarooq - Damn. 19. RVD - Hasn't wrestled for the company in 2015 but has had recent stints in part time roles. He's not under contract anywhere else so will likely end up in the game and could play a major role if the Austin mode stretches as far as The Invasion days. He and Austin shared some pretty memorable interactions. 18. Diamond Dallas Page - Also part of the Invasion... He deserves it, and a hopeful WWE Hall of Fame induction next year... Also part of The Invasion. 17. Tazz - No longer under contract with TNA, Tazz is eligible for a WWE game for the first time in almost a decade. 2K must sign him up for the game and include him in the Stone Cold mode as part of the Invasion. 16 & 15. The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & D-Von) - Also eligible for the game for the first time in a decade, The Dudley Boyz's inclusion would be a great selling point and 2K must be chomping at the bit to get the opportunity to include those damn dudleys in one of their releases. Bubba returned briefly at the Royal Rumble and showed he could still go, D-Von didn't but you can guarantee if Bubba's in the game, they'll have asked D-Von too. Both could be part of the Invasion mode.
