WWE 2K17: 10 Forgotten Things You Can Still Do
6. Crimson Mask - Turning Blood On
In the UK, the WWE 2K series for years has been labeled as a PEGI 16 rating. That is, no one under the age of 16 can purchase this game. One of the reasons is because of blood featuring in the game, despite blood being a very rare occurrence to WWE TV now (ignoring Brock leaving Orton in a pool).
While blood makes the matches in the video game more authentic when superstars are hit in the head with a steel chair, it's not there automatically. When you first boot up the game, to activate blood you have to go into options and manually turn this feature on, otherwise you'll never see blood no matter how many chair shots you do.
Even online to this day you won't see any blood in the match types. That's likely to be more to do with server/game handling but needless to say it's sad not being able to bloody your best mates to a pulp. And yet still most new players will forget this is an actual feature in the game.
