WWE 2K17: 36 New Wrestlers Announced
New Day in, no word yet on Sonny Boy.
IGN has released the third big batch of wrestlers names for the upcoming WWE 2K17, with a total of 36 new names announced for the popular video game series.
Along with the largest number of wrestlers revealed so far, the entrance video for New Day is also out, which you can check out below:
The New Day does their signature dancing and skipping to the ring here, along with their unicorn horns and Francesca making the cut. It's nice to hear the inclusion of the trombone sound effects as well, so you can chant along with the crowd. With the group's rising popularity in the company, it's cool to see them get some love from the 2K crew.
The newest reveal of roster members is filled with legends from the past, a lot of returning faces from last year's entry, as well as a few wrestlers who have never been in the series before.
It's an eclectic mix, with at least a few names that are sure to get fans excited...
36. A.J. Styles
With A.J. joining the company at the Royal Rumble, this will be the first time he'll be appearing in a WWE video game. It will actually be the first game he's appeared on a major console release since the forgettable TNA Impact game in 2008.
While he's yet to dish out a Spiral Tap in WWE, perhaps you'll be able to bust out as many as you like in 2K17...while beating up John Cena!
