Have you been injured in Suplex City?

The hype for WWE 2K17 is nearing a fever pitch, as the game is finally released next week. To get us more hyped than ever, the team at 2K Sports has delivered a pair of new videos that have taken a unique route of promoting the game.

We've been taken to Suplex City itself, a place where wrestlers and managers appear to own local businesses. Yesterday we were introduced to Goldberg's Gym, which is a spoof of a local gym commercial, filled with plenty of cheesy explosions to make if feel authentic!

Today we got a sequel (or perhaps a prequel, as it was tied-in at the beginning of Goldberg's video) with a brilliant Paul Heyman Attorney At Law ad:

While we only got to see a couple seconds worth of footage for the actual game itself, these are both pretty creative and entertaining ads. In another life, you can easily see Paul Heyman as a loud mouth local attorney, and watching Goldberg involved with WWE in any form is still a bit surreal.

It's a bit of a shame actually that the team who puts together the 2K videos (like the great Sting trailer) aren't the ones producing vignettes for Rawn and SmackDown, as you can only imagine what kind of great stuff they could come up with. Half the roster could probably use a video like this devoted to them right now.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
