3. Outrageously Long Loading Screens

Make sure you've got your phone nearby when playing 2K17, because the frequently lengthy loading screens will otherwise make you want to tear your hair out.

Particularly when moving around in MyCareer mode and the Creation Suite, expect load times in excess of 30 seconds, and while your basic match set-up does seem to load faster than 2K16, on the whole the amount of down-time as the game loads seems wholly unreasonable.

This is sadly unlikely to change all that much as it's almost certainly tied to the game's engine, but perhaps that's simply another sign that the series could do with a major design overhaul.
