There is an alternative to free DLC Packs, 2K, and once again takes inspiration from EA's FIFA series. Basically, playing and winning games in FIFA gives you coins to spend on unlockable features such as football shirts and boots. How about whenever you win a match, complete an objective or explore a new area of WWE 2K16 you are awarded a certain amount of coins to spend on the unlockable features and DLC packs? How much more appealing does that sound? 2K might lose out on a lot of money, but their audience will almost be forced to play through more of the game to obtain coins to spend on treats.
