WWE 2K18: 10 Legends Who Must Be Included

1. Owen Hart

Will gamers ever get their ultimate wish of seeing Owen Hart available for selection fulfilled? Much like a desired induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame is in the real world, getting Owen back in digital form is like a video game Holy Grail. Put simply, it must happen this year.

The fact Owen hasn't been seen in a wrestling video game since the 2004 release of Showdown: Legends Of Wrestling is dire. Equally as incredible, the Canadian legend's last appearance in a WWE-branded video game came back in 1999 as part of PS1 classic WWF Attitude.

That means it's almost 18 years since gamers were able to use Owen Hart in a WWF/WWE game.

There are reasons for this, of course. Any time WWE mention Hart, memories are inevitably brought up of his tragic death at Over the Edge '99. WWE would definitely have to speak with Owen's widow Martha too, because she may be unwilling to let a company she has blown hot and cold with profit from her late husband's image.

If an agreement could be struck, wrestling fans would be the real winners. Being able to play as Owen in 2K18 would feel historic and would also represent real progress in the march towards a Hall Of Fame induction that is surely impending. Owen's brother Bret has said before that it's only a matter of time, but wouldn't it be cool to play as 'The King Of Hart's before then?
