WWE 2K18: 10 Most Over-Rated Main Roster Members

4. Shinsuke Nakamura (89)

Besides, if 2K want to pretend the ratings go along with what's happening in real-life WWE, then why is Shinsuke Nakamura higher than the WWE Champion in this year's game? Put your pitchforks down - we're not criticising Naka's in-ring ability, far from it. Instead, we're just expressing frustration that the rules don't seem consistent.

If Jinder Mahal is only rated 88 because of his mega-push, then why are the likes of Braun Strowman (88) not ranked higher too? That's right, Shinsuke is a single point better than Strowman in 2K18. Both will have different strengths and weaknesses, sure, but it's the overall ratings that matter here.

Nakamura's New Japan brilliance and wonderful NXT run haven't quite been captured on the WWE main roster yet. Hopefully that will change, otherwise this rating will be viewed with skepticism. Even Shinsuke's biggest admirers must admit that it's weird to see him beat the likes of Braun, Kevin Owens, and Samoa Joe.
