WWE 2K18: 10 Superstars Who Could Make Their Franchise Debut
2. The Hardy Boyz
If we're going to get The Hardy Boyz in WWE 2K18 we're going to get Matt and Jeff in their regular state. Let's just get that out of the way very early on. Please try not to be too disappointed.
Had the 'broken' brothers made that wonderful shock appearance at WrestleMania 33 then it might be a different story; but with the schedule for putting the games together as it is, and the fact the broken universe hasn't been unleashed on the WWE Universe as we're sat here well into May, there's just not enough time.
Given both Matt and Jeff were at Mania they should be a given when it comes to making the basic game's roster for 2K18. They're only the RAW Tag Team Champions for crying out loud, and are doing so while proving that they haven't lost a step. With the room the pair have to manoeuvre in terms of their gimmick opening up a number of possibilities - yes, the hints at broken things are still tantalisingly there - I think it's safe to say this nostalgia act will be far more fruitful than The Dudley Boyz were recently. Heck, if Bubba and D-Von could make it into a game despite their run The Hardys have nothing to worry about.
If all goes to plan Jeff should make his first appearance in a WWE video game since SmackDown VS. RAW 2010, with Matt's hiatus from WWE's virtual universe ending one year shorter.
