WWE 2K18: Predicting All 130 Superstar Ratings
80. Carmella: 78
Last year's rating: 70
She's the Baron Corbin of the female ranks in more than being the only member of the ranks allowed to carry around a briefcase. Carmella is a future top level heel who is very much on the up. I'd expect her ratings to go up in the next couple of WWE video games just as her stock in the real life WWE ring will.
79. Chad Gable: 80
Last year's rating: 79
He's all alone now, which for a small man like he you'd think would be to his detriment, but Chad Gable looks like he'll be ok as long as he's allowed to put matches on like the one he had with AJ Styles on SmackDown a few weeks ago.
Consolidated on the main roster, showcased in at least one great match even though WWE made an absolute mess of American Alpha; Chad Gable should be on for an increase in WWE 2K18.
78. Charlotte Flair: 87
Last year's rating: 86
Charlotte's the best in the female game today, isn't the? She's the best between the ropes, she has the best promo (when she's a heel at least), and she has the longevity in her gimmick to match.
Even though she's gone a while without a championship the fact that she's done so much and made herself a fixture atop WWE means she should be in for a slight increase in rating.
77. Chris Jericho: 87
Last year's rating: 87
He's going to live forever, isn't he? Chris Jericho is in his 47th year on this planet yet he still moves round as great as he ever has. He's consistently in the best storylines as well and has gotten the word 'IT' over in the last 12 months.
You would expect a man of Y2J's vintage to be on the decline now but I think he more than deserves to have his WWE 2K18 rating stay the same.
76. Daniel Bryan: 89
Last year's rating: 89
There'll be two Daniel Bryans in the new game but this is the score that will be given to the wrestler version. He's not been in the ring in the last 12 months so we don' know if he's any better or worse so keeping things the same seems like the safest bet for the boffins at 2K.
75. Dolph Ziggler: 82
Last year's rating: 85
Dolph Ziggler's decline has been sad. He's still a great wrestler but even though he was shunted into a WWE Championship match at last year's SummerSlam it's clear for all to see that nobody really gives a damn about him any more.
He's descended into meaningless obscurity therefore a heavy demotion should be on the cards.
74. Epico Colon: 70
Last year's rating: 72
Will the Colons still be with WWE by the time the new game hits the shelves? Rumours were rife about their future and they haven't really been featured on SmackDown Live since...
73. Erick Rowan: 74
Last year's rating: 74
He doesn't really do anything, does he? It's hard to give a real assessment of how his year has been. He's got a new twist on his gimmick that could have some legs yet whenever he's been in the ring he's been made to look pretty weak most of the time considering how much of a big sweaty man he is.
72. Fandango: 78
Last year's rating: 69
The Fashion Police are great. Fandango is finally being used in a role that suits him after years of being arguably the most misused guy in the company which means a massive ratings boost should be on the cards.
71. James Ellsworth: 60
Last year's rating: n/a
He throws a mean Superkick. That's it.
