WWE 2K19: 10 Awesome New Things You Can Do

6. Make 2K19 Look Like A Comic Book

2K19's creation suite lets players come up with their own shows. This is handy when downloading arenas from Community Creations, and it's the only way to make those settings playable in exhibition matches. Whilst you're installing them, check out the various screen filters 2K have included.

Some of these, like the 'Bad VHS' and '8-Bit' ones, were in 2K18. They're not new then, and neither are others such as '90s' or '80s'. It's the 'Cel Shaded' one that should capture any comic book fan's imagination though. It looks awesome when lavished over the top of the old Raw Is War set, or even retro shows like SummerSlam 1988.

In fact, cel shading softens some of the rougher edges that are starting to show in 2K's graphical engine, and it makes some of the character models look better than they do without any filters. That's impressive, and it made this nerdy old warhorse yearn for a retro WWE game that uses this style exclusively.
