WWE 2K19: 10 Biggest Innovations We Need To See
4. At Least Some Voice Clips
It's 2018 and somehow 2K haven't grasped the fact that wrestling fans might want to hear some talking in their WWE video games that doesn't come from the commentary team.
Yes, it would be far-fetched for the developers to record every single WWE star and give them individual lines in the game. No, it wouldn't be too hard for them to focus on a core nucleus of big names and make sure some of their most memorable catchphrases are audible in 2K19.
Recording promos for everyone on the roster would be a chore, and it's unnecessary anyway when most fans would settle for a splash of John Cena talking smack, Braun Strowman threatening fools or Daniel Bryan crying out his iconic "Yes" catchphrase. Those, if nothing else, should be the bare minimum.
This is especially true in any MyCareer feature or Universe Mode. Seeing awesome digital representations of guys like Triple H move their mouths like a glove puppet on PS4 is maddening. There were sporadic voice clips in WWF War Zone, for crying out loud.
