WWE 2K19: 10 Legends Who Must Be Included
2. Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio's last video game appearance was in WWE 2K15. There's a reason for that: Rey left the promotion in early-2015 and didn't return until his cameo showing in the 2018 Royal Rumble match. That was followed by another Rumble stint in Saudi Arabia at the Greatest Royal Rumble event.
There's been a lot of talk online about Mysterio inking a deal with WWE that will see him make further appearances this year. Even if that doesn't end up happening, he'd still be an exciting inclusion to the 2K19 roster.
Rey is a big enough star to centre one of those Showcase Modes around too, should 2K feel the need to bring that feature back (and they should).
If not, then he's worth sticking on the legends tab anyway as a playable option. Gamers could make Rey part of the 205 Live roster and liven up the Cruiserweight ranks in Universe Mode or put him up against the likes of Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles on the main roster.
