WWE 2K19: 10 Potential Showcase Modes

1. Daniel Bryan's Redemption

Or, if 2K don't want to examine legendary careers from stars of the past, they could dip into recent fan affection for the most unlikely comeback story of this generation. Yes, we're talking a full-blown Daniel Bryan Showcase that chronicles his initial rise, rips the heart out of everyone with his 2016 retirement and has an emotional happy ending.

Now Bryan is back as a full-time in-ring star, there's never been a better time than now to do this.

If 2K are feeling particularly adventurous, they could split the thing into two distinct parts. The first would be a straightforward history lesson that takes his most memorable matches from 2010-2015, lets gamers play through them and tells the story of how he overcame the odds to catch fire with fans.

The second, well that'd be up for player interpretation. As Daniel has only recently returned and hasn't had time to create more top moments (his WrestleMania 34 comeback aside), 2K could leave the redemption part of the story up to fans and let them book his next chapter.

It'd be an interesting spin on the Showcase blueprint, at least.
