Along with Rey Mysterio, reigning Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey is one of the pre-order bonuses 2K are dangling in front of fans. That says it all. It's huge for Rousey that she's being used as a carrot designed to get fans to drop cash before 2K19 comes out when she's so new to wrestling.

The 'Baddest Woman On The Planet' is no ordinary star however.

She's one of the hottest female athletes on the planet today and a genuine crossover name WWE can use to promote their intellectual property to fresh eyeballs. It's smart then to have her play such a big role in 2K19's marketing, and it'll be extra money in 2K's coffers when those who don't pre-order inevitably buy her character via DLC after the fact.
