WWE 2K19 Early Wishlist: 12 Things Fans Want To See

1. A Whole New Gameplay Engine

Perhaps the most painfully apparent fact coming away from 2K18 and the last few years of WWE 2K games in general is that the engine is sorely in need of a huge overhaul.

No, not a refinement of the existing engine, but scrapping the current one and starting entirely anew, because in terms of visuals, gameplay and general performance, the engine is clearly ready to buckle under its own weight.

It's too clunky, awkward, graceless and rife with glitches to sustain for much longer. Unfortunately with these games being churned out every year, there's probably not enough time to switch engines, and there's zero chance this franchise would dare sit out a year to get itself straight, as it honestly probably needs to.
