WWE 2K19 Ratings: 10 Most Underrated Wrestlers

4. Kurt Angle '01

WWE 2K19 Kurt Angle
2K Games

Rating: 86

Why It's Too Low: Check out Kurt Angle's irritated expression in the graphic above. It's there for a reason.

Back in 2001, Angle was one of the best pro wrestlers on the planet. His matches with Steve Austin, Chris Benoit and The Rock were something else, and he also managed to get the best out of Shane McMahon in a bruising brawl at King Of The Ring. Yep, Kurt was at the top of his game 17 years ago.

Why then is his '01 model rated lower than his '06 one, and a full six points worse off than Daniel Bryan's best score (again, his 2013 character has a 92 rating)? In 2K's world, Angle in his prime is a poorer choice than Edge, John Cena, modern-day Sting and today's Triple H. All have a rating of 89, which is three higher than Kurt's.

This is another example of the illogical thread running through some of these ratings. Apparently, someone at 2K wasn't a fan of this. How dare they.
