WWE 2K19 Universe Mode: 7 Improvements You Need To Know About

7. More Championships Per Show

One of the first changes 2K have made is a relatively minor one at first glance.

Now, instead of offering players the chance to have a maximum of four titles per show, you can assign six to Raw or SmackDown (it's unclear whether the same goes for smaller programs like NXT). What does this mean other than a boost in numbers? Well, it means you can have more than one set of Tag-Team belts, or two Women's Titles on the same show.

That's the other, hidden part of this tweak; if you've ever fancied setting up a unification rivalry between the Raw and SmackDown Women's Titles, you can. There's some freedom to mess around with the more established male ones too, but that was always really part of Universe so it doesn't apply as a new feature.

Titles can also be vacated this year, which is a welcome change. In 2K19, there's no need to schedule a title match and actually play it to get the desired result. Simply hop into the menu, vacate the thing and then give it to whomever you want to see holding it, or make a chase part of your storylines.
