WWE 2K20: 10 Improvements It Must Make On 2K19
2. Consistent Quality With Character Models
Many of 2K19's character models look lush under the glitzy, shimmering lighting system. If you squint your eyes at the right moment, it's even possible to be fooled into thinking the game is a real-life WWE broadcast. Then, the house lights come on and Becky Lynch suddenly resembles Eddie Izzard with a ginger wig.
Moment. Lost.
There's no reasonable excuse for this up-and-down quality level across the character select screen. Triple H, Roman Reigns and other top stars shouldn't look 10 times better than those lower down the card. That logic is flawed. Plus, this isn't FIFA, and 2K don't have hundreds upon hundreds of models to render. The quality should be more consistent.
When Lana is complaining about her character online and Braun Strowman has an air of egg with beard attached about him, questions must be asked of the developers. Whether they're working under time constraints or not, they need to find a way to make every character high quality.
