For some reason, 2K's output has randomly avoided WWE's real-life focus on women's wrestling. There's no women's MyCareer, for example (we know, that argument is getting old but come on), and the females generally feel overlooked. Showcase could ease those concerns by whipping together a mode worthy of words like 'evolution' and 'revolution'.

That's right, we're pushing Charlotte Flair forward into the spotlight for the star treatment. She's WWE's best female all-rounder and has been for years; Flair's work on NXT was fun, she became an immediate centrepiece upon moving up to the main roster and her rivalries with Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey and more are stuff of legend by now.

Imagine video links narrated by her father Ric. He'd jump through hoops to tell his daughter's story, and the whole mode could be presented as a glimpse into how Charlotte emerged from daddy dearest's shadow to carve her own fame.
