WWE 2K20: 10 Tiny Details 2K Must Add

5. The Old Royal Rumble Camera Angle

We've lamented the lack of camera angle customisation in WWE video games before elsewhere, so let's not go down that road again. Well, more accurately, let's stay on the same street without venturing down Keyboard Warrior Drive once more. Sort of. Almost. Maybe?

Oh, forget it, let's revisit the good old days.

Above, you'll see a screenshot for 2000's WWF Royal Rumble on the Dreamcast. It was more arcade-ish than Ridge Racer, was a bare bones title and didn't offer much beyond the titular Rumble mode. It did get one thing right though: 'dat camera angle. It showed Rumble participants on their merry way to January's 30-man melee.

Some of the older SmackDown titles had a similar viewpoint for Rumble matches, and it was magical. Imagine that same view but with 2K19's more elaborate Rumble entrances. It's minor, yes, but important to this wizened old veteran of the series.
