2. Blood

2K elected to change how blood works after several complaints about how poor it looked when the game was launched. To ease concerns, they went a different route and animated blood so that it cakes rather than pours. This would be realistic for minor injuries if it bloody (ha) worked.

You shouldn't be shocked to learn by now that it doesn't.

The screen flashes red when someone has been split open like normal. Then, blood just doesn't appear at all until one pauses, opens up the replay menus and zooms in on the afflicted character's forehead. Only then will droplets of plasma appear on their face. That's brutally bad work.
