WWE 2K20 Early Wishlist: 10 Things Fans DEMAND
4. A Classic Showcase
As nice as Daniel Bryan's Showcase was, it was a notable step away from what fans expected of the mode's comeback.
2K16's Steve Austin retrospective mixed early WCW memories with Attitude era nostalgia and tied it all together with 'Stone Cold's' trademark personality. It was wonderful, and it's something we'd love to see more of from 2K. They're blatantly huge marks for retro stuff, and so they're well-placed to make anything old-school work.
Should they tackle the careers of men like Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, The Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage or 'Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase (if they fancy a heel slant), then they'll have some serious fun crafting the mode. Not only that, but they'd be able to squeeze some new legends and arenas into the game that have never been seen.
Our suggestion is to have a modern-day Showcase (AJ Styles? Charlotte Flair? The Miz?) and then offer up a bonus one from yesteryear that'd get older fans interested.
