Japanese icon Jushin 'Thunder' Liger was recently inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame as part of the frankly weird 2020/2021 ceremonies. Therefore, the timing has never been better to pop Liger onto the 2K22 disc and make him part of the WWE gaming family.
Surly they can come to some sort of arrangement here.
The 11-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champ would be a fine addition to the roster for fantasy-based modes like Universe, for example. He's the kind of celebrated worker that players can stick on the NXT roster for a few more of those TakeOver specials, or put him up against Rey Mysterio. Or, feed him to Brock Lesnar.
The beauty of these games lies in the freedom of choice. Liger is officially a company legend, and that means he's perfect for one of those hefty 2K gaming residuals. There must be someone on the development team who'd love to make this happen.
