WWE 2K22: 10 Things To Know Before You Buy

1. It Is Better Than 2K20

This is arguably the biggest deal-breaker for many.

WWE 2K22 is a big improvement on the sorry mess of code that was 2K20. Character models don't always look photo-realistic, but they're bursting with personality and life. Also, the way wrestlers move has been completely overhauled. That was long, long, long overdue for this franchise.

Key additions like MyGM, Rey Mysterio's Showcase and even the secondary MyFACTION feature (which some will have fun mucking around with for a while) help beef everything out. Then, there are neat tweaks to things like Universe Mode and the new creation tools over on that side of things.

Lighting is gorgeous, sound has been enhanced (matches feels like they're happening in front of a live crowd for the first time), gameplay is better and everything has a nice amount of polish to it. That extra year of production has helped 2K out. Things are finally moving in the right direction again.
