WWE 2K23: 27 Possible DLC Characters Revealed

Another surprising inclusion comes in the form of the top-left corner's bust that appears to reference Chris Masters' 'Masterpiece' titantron. Masters hasn't wrestled for WWE since 2011 and was last in a WWE video game in October 2010's SmackDown vs. Raw 2011; even then, though, he was a DLC character, coming in the Online Axxess pack at launch.

WWE has regularly included outlandish DLC choices that you'd never expect - Bruno Sammartino in WWE 2K14, Machine Gun Kelly in WWE 2K22, et al - so Chris Masters wouldn't necessarily be an odd choice. He remains firmly in favour of WWE, too, having campaigned for a Royal Rumble comeback and showdown with Bobby Lashley. Telling Chris Van Vliet:-

“I’d love to come back for a Royal Rumble or something like that. I mean you never say never. I feel like they could potentially reach out again at some point. But I’m kind of at the point where, at this point, I feel like I have been exiled to a certain point."
