WWE 2K24 Superstar Ratings: 10 Biggest Surprises & Snubs
1. Snub - Cody Rhodes (93)
...because, to be a bit pedantic, they sort of dropped the ball with the third one.
It says volumes about Cody's current status in WWE that even a rating of 93 feels like a rubber chicken-sized slap in his face. Cody is by far the biggest babyface the WWE have created in years, to the extent that the vast majority of WWE fans supported Cody over The Rock - The Rock! - when WWE tried to replace the former with the latter as WrestleMania's headline act.
Intriguingly, The Rock himself is rated at 94, which speaks volumes as to how 2K Games viewed the pair - Cody good, Rocky better. This is, of course, nonsense. Despite Dwayne Johnson's many achievements outside the WWE, in the modern wrestling world Cody is king, and fans were keen to remind WWE of the fact when they threw a wrench in the proposed Rock-Roman main event at this year's WrestleMania.
Cody Rhodes is the biggest pure babyface in wrestling today, and hopefully WWE2K25 will see him rewarded with a score that won't leave his fans wanting to throw plastic poultry at their TV screens.
