EA UFC's stamina monitoring system was refined, strategic, and, if followed correctly, un-intrusive. Throwing too many punches or attempting an errant kick while you're already dazed drained your stamina and, naturally, your fighter became lethargic and left themselves open for an easy knockout.

WWE 2K25 won't be anything like that - but it will take inspiration.

The player HUD at the bottom of the screen now comes with a new yellow stamina bar. This will deplete over time as you throw fists at your opponent and will prevent players from completing certain actions, such as the carry system. While aspects of this are already prevalent within WWE games, having a visual aid on-screen to represent a Superstar's stamina will allow for more logistical planning, particularly when playing opposite a giant who will take more damage to topple.

Also new on the HUD are a body damage timer, which provides a visual cue as to when a Superstar will rise back to their feet after being knocked down, and a red 'DANGER' warning, though it is currently believed that the latter will only appear during Backstage Brawls, aiding players to know when they, or their opponent, is ready to be knocked out.
