Plunder-based butchery in a modern WWE video is an unspoken necessity, as recreating the mayhem of the Attitude Era with a ring drowned in broken tables, cracked kendo sticks, and bent steel chairs is the sort of carnage that makes even the dullest of games enjoyable.

This will be somewhat streamlined in WWE 2K25.

While the weapon wheel will still be featured, you can now assign specific weapons to Superstars that will be automatically retrieved when they search under the ring. This will make playing as certain Superstars, such as Triple H, feel more realistic: 'The Game' might want to get a table out, but chances are he's going to opt for the sledgehammer. The same goes for Carlito (apple), The Dudley Boyz (table), The Undertaker (urn), and countless others.

A full list of weapons available for selection in the weapon wheel remains uncertain, though expect the standard wrestling accessories (chair, ladder, kendo stick, etc.) and WWE 2K24's slew of DLC weapons, including the door, the football, and light tubes. New weapons already confirmed for 2K25 include a trash can lid, while a traffic cone and a pane of glass can also be discovered when fighting backstage, though don't expect these to be hidden under the ring.
