1. Games Are Already In Development
This one probably goes without saying, but even now with approximately a year left until Xbox 720 is officially announced (who knows exactly when itll then be released, although Q4 2013 looks likely, just in time for Santa) games are already in full swing development. How do we know? Well, there have already bee job posting on line from several gaming pub/dev companies who are on the lookout for developers with Direct X 11 experience (most notably
Lionhead and
Bethesda. Since DX11 isnt used on
any of the current gen consoles, we can only assume that these companies are already in the process of producing new games to accompany the launch of the new gen consoles. So could we be looking at a next-gen Fable and even better a next-gen Elder Scrolls, as early as new-gen launch day? God I hope so. Of course at this stage, we can only wait and see. One thing I will say: the future looks bright for gaming. So there are the ten Xbox 720 rumours we really do hope come to fruition. Anything weve missed? Do let us know!
