Xbox One: 10 Reasons Why You Should Be Buying It

3. A New Way to Watch Television

Xbox One Tv1 Yep, I'm going there: sorry everyone. Despite it being tarnished with big red letters that say "This is Evil," the TV functionality of the Xbox One is actually incredibly intuitive. Again, Microsoft failed to explain why this is the case in every pretty much every interview they've done, but it does look good. Designed to work with your existing set-top boxes, the Xbox One's television section receives data about what's on and tailors it to your tastes. Depending on whether you let it or not, the One will adapt to your choices in life: so if you love Game of Thrones, it'll let you know when a new episode is coming up (as if you didn't know that already!). It also directly integrates with Kinect, allowing you to choose your favourite TV shows by using your voice and hands rather than trying to find the remote( which has somehow gotten down the very back of the sofa along with some loose change, two discarded peanuts and that dog that went missing some time ago). So yes: TV, TV, TV: it's all here, and it honestly does look like it's going to be pretty darn clever.
