1. The Name
For years before the new console was announced, there were guesses as to what the name would be; they included Xbox Infinity and what I thought the name would be, Xbox 720. On 21st May, when the new console was announced, we found out. And the name is rubbish, boring, unimaginative drivel. It is call One, apparently because it is supposed to be an all-in-one entertainment system. It's pathetic and cringe worthy. 720 would have been a more interesting name - twice the number of 360, twice the console - for while it's not brilliant, it's better than what Microsoft came up with. Infinity would have been the best name, as you could have stated that the Xbox Infinity is a console with Infinite possibilities (of course, that's not literally possible, but you can see where I'm coming from). It sounds so much better (and cooler) than "One". "Xbox Infinity: Infinite Possibilities". This isn't brilliant advertising, but it's short, simple and doesn't confuse people by having the
third console called "One". Have Microsoft forgotten how to count? They must be so accustomed to counting in billions that they've forgotten what small numbers look and sound like.
