9. The Price
The cost of the new console is staggering, eye-watering, and astronomical. £429 (FOUR HUNDRED AND TWENTY NINE). It costs the same in Euros as well (499), whereas in the United States, it costs $499, which is about £330, £100 less than here in Blighty. We are essentially paying more but not getting any more, and we'll more than likely have less than our American friends, as some of the content shown at the reveal will probably only be available in Uncle Samland. To be fair to Microsoft, Sony has done the same with the PS4, but this takes price discrimination to a new level. The price may come down in the New Year, but let's not hold our collective breath.
