Playing games is one thing, but making them is another aspect entirely. However, every gamer has either desired or at least imagined being able to get involved with the design process. Sadly, not everybody can become a game designer for the industry - some don't even make the cut for indie development, after all. Microsoft understands this, which is why they made things a little easier with the Xbox One. In case you missed it, Microsoft didn't designed the Xbox One just for providing entertainment. The console also comes with its own dev kit features for tinkerers who want to pursue game design from the comfort of their living room. There's just one catch; the feature isn't finalised yet and requires more time and knowledge on both ends. Therefore, users are advised not to go tinkering around with the Xbox One's development tools until further notice, as it's subject to changes and isn't anywhere near completed yet. Still, it's great that the Xbox One is a cost effective platform for developing and even publishing indie games. What do you reckon? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
