But, by the time youve reached your third or fourth playthrough (and you will, because this game was built from the ground up to encourage replays), everything from the scope to the variety of the battlefield starts to seem monotonous and limiting. When you eventually reach that point, try giving the XCOM 2 More Maps Pack mod a download. The mod itself adds a bunch of new layouts to the games map pool, meaning that the possibilities are increased dramatically when randomly generating an environment. You wont actually see any new kinds of battlefields, but the battlefields already available feel considerably fresher and more distinct. (Download Link)
