13. You Can Unlock Hero Characters
Hero characters are a special soldier type in XCOM 2. Theyre unlocked by entering specific names into the soldiers personal information screen, names like Sid Meier or Peter Van Doorn. Though these soldiers disable the games achievements, theyre incredibly overpowered and can easily turn the tide in any battle situation whatsoever.
In fact, theyre so overpowered that the game essentially becomes a walk in the park; they all have incredible abilities and high-end equipment, superseding any real sense of challenge. So, if you just want to play through the game, experience the story and feel like an utter badass, knock yourself out.
