One of the most subtly gorgeous areas in the game that'll really force you to keep your whits about you, the Thyphlo Ruins are located to the north of the Lost Woods/Korok Forest, and are forever encased in absolute darkness.

Literally, the game gives you a handful of torches at the western entrance and some bird-shaped braziers to keep them lit, but if that goes out and you're nowhere near another re-ignite point, good luck getting your bearings in total darkness.

To remedy this, firstly you can equip things like flame swords, fire arrows and bombs to get some indication of light, but keep an eye out for the direction the bird braziers are pointing, as these will guide you to the necessary orange shrine points.

Once you've found the point where the Sheikah Orb needs to be placed, stand in the middle of this structure and look around. In the darkness, you'll be able to find the Orb, so grab it, bring it back and unlock the Shrine itself.

Just be aware, there are enemies and animals in the dark, so be ready to hop between a light source and appropriate weapon accordingly.
