6. The Tingle Bros. (And David)'s Islands

Luckily, we've escaped the 'charms' of Tingle (unless he's still hiding somewhere unseen), but both he and his fellow compadré, David Jr. all get the tribute treatment in Breath of the Wild.

You'll probably recognise the large, thin wooden beam that bridges Tingel Island to Ankel Island from some of the earliest BotW footage (and it's also where many fans have challenged themselves to shield-surf down in one go).

Those names aren't typos on my part, either. The characters of Tingle, Ankle, Knuckle and David Jr get transformed into Tingel, Ankel, Knuckel and Davdi Island(s), all coming complete with a ton to see, plus one underground Shrine on Tingel Island you'll need Stasis or a few Octo balloons to remove.
