Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 - Every Confirmed & Rumoured Detail
2. Name Of The Game
The game’s title is currently unknown, and all the E3 trailer revealed was that “The sequel to the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now in development”. However, the same leak which advised that Zelda will be playable, also provided a game title, “Bond of the Triforce”.
As with any leaks, these are far from confirmed so always approach with caution but if true, this becomes significant as the Triforce was noticeably absent during BOTW, only ever seen when Zelda uses her power to protect Link against the Guardians and in the final battle against Dark Beast Ganon.
An artefact containing the essence of Hyrule's Golden Goddesses, the Triforce is made up of three parts, Courage, Wisdom and Strength and historically was connected to Link, Zelda and Ganon respectively, so potentially we could see it's return as a major plot element.
A separate leak points to the name “Breath of the Darkness” instead, saying this will launch with a Switch successor and be capable of 4k Graphics and 60fps, but considering the hardware implications, this reads more like a wishlist than a serious rumour.
