6. Sarah Harper - Obsession
The only excuse anyone has for not knowing Curry Barker's instant horror classic, Obsession, is that they used a One Wish Willow to erase it from their mind, purely so they can watch it again. This ground-breaking supernatural flick has taken the world by storm, and rightly so. It's a psychological horror masterpiece, and the horrible, completely sudden demise of one of its main characters is a fine example of why it has made such a splash.
Sarah is one of the protagonist Bear's closest friends, and a potential love rival for the titularly obsessed Nikki. Given Nikki's delve into possessive insanity, it's easy to see how another girl with feelings for her boyfriend might be in danger. That said, no one was prepared for this kill.
Whilst talking with Bear in a car, quietly expressing her concerns, Sarah is suddenly interrupted by a crazed Nikki who breaks through the window and barbarically smashes her face into smithereens. This death is so quick and sudden that it feels like it happens at lightspeed, catching every viewer off guard.
Sarah deserved better, Nikki deserved better, and Bear did everything wrong.
