10 Upcoming Horror Movies That Made PERFECT Casting Choices

Elle Fanning has been carving out quite the rep for herself as one of the most impressively versatile and adventurous actors of her generation, and so it didn't require much imagination to picture her starring in the new Predator movie, Predator: Badlands.

There's a fun twist, though, as Fanning won't be playing a human protagonist as initially expected, but a Weyland-Yutani synthetic by the name of Thia that is forced to team up with Dek (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), a young Predator outcast who is seeking out his ultimate adversary.

Fanning looks like she's having an absolute blast here and seems set to add another terrific android performance to the Alien franchise's pantheon. Plus, having a synth team up with a Predator is entirely new territory for both the Alien and Predator franchises, and so gives Fanning a ton of unique acting opportunities.

We know she's never been afraid to hurl herself physically into a role, and she's a remarkable dramatic actor to boot, so what's not to love about this?
