The totally deranged enterprise that is The Twisted Childhood Universe continues its unfathomable expansion with a second sequel to the film that started it all: Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey.
Now, as undeniably bad as the original Blood and Honey was, 2024's sequel was honestly a marked improvement, benefitting immensely from a beefed-up budget, ensuring the creature effects and kills were decidedly more fun to behold. And accepting that Blood and Honey 2 grossed a frankly astonishing $7.6 million against a mere $500,000 budget, we can hope that Blood and Honey 3 will once again up the ante where production values are concerned.
Fascinatingly, the script is this time being written by cult filmmaker Richard Stanley (Hardware, Color Out of Space) and will reportedly include Pooh mainstays such as Heffalumps, Woozles, Kanga, and Roo. Sure, why the hell not?
