2. Truth Or Dare
Blumhouse's Truth or Dare was rough to say the least - a thoroughly uninspired Final Destination knock-off that couldn't even deliver some quality kills due to its PG-13 rating.
The dialogue and performances were not good, to be kind, and it would've likely been quickly forgotten were it not for a sequel-baiting ending that was far and away the most interesting thing about it.
In the climax, protagonist Olivia (Lucy Hale) finally concedes that there's no way for her to escape the cursed game of Truth or Dare, and so defers to the nuclear option - posting a YouTube video inviting everyone watching to play.
And so, Olivia effectively turns the game into a worldwide event, buying herself a whole ton of time at the expense of many, many lives around the globe, as the curse clearly won't circle back to her for ages.
It's an ending that's at once hilariously silly but also a genuinely tantalising sequel setup - a sequel which, despite this film's mighty box office performance, we sadly never got.
