10 Biggest Album Flops In Rock History

7. The Spaghetti Incident? - Guns N Roses

Guns N Roses had one hell of a start to the '90s. After stomping out what was left of the hair metal movement with their debut Appetite for Destruction, they had enough material lying around for a full-on double record, which sent them on one of the biggest tours in hard rock history. That kind of success is extremely rare in rock music, but when they eventually came off the road, everyone was fried beyond belief.

Thanks to the ongoing antics of Axl Rose and Slash and Duff McKagan sinking deeper and deeper into their alcohol addiction, the band decided to play it safe and come together for a handful of covers of their favorite punk tunes. What should have been a healthy way to reenergize these LA street urchins turned into the final gasps of the most dangerous band in history.

Are the songs played fine? Yeah...but the tone is way off. While there were some highlights in the track listing like Since I Don't Have You, the whole band sounds like they are at their wit's end and doing everything they can to provide the bare minimum for what would be considered a decent GNR cut. As Slash and Duff went their own way and Axl sunk deeper into his own ass, The Spaghetti Incident? was the last we'd see of the classic lineup for a long time.
