Being the descendent of Motown founder Berry Gordy, the entire reason why Somebody's Watching Me became popular seems to be because Michael Jackson sang the chorus, because the video is one of the most confusing things ever. As much as it's trying to sell the creepy factor of a haunted house, the idea of Rockwell getting more and more paranoid when his dog is dressed up in a costume is just a little too funny to take seriously.

Granted, some of these visuals can be unsettling at times, just probably not in the context that Rockwell probably wanted them too, like a mailman's dopey smile that could be turned into a meme any day now.
