10 Great Hard Rock Songs You Won't Find On Spotify

1. When Death Calls - Black Sabbath

We've talked so much about them up to this point, we thought it only fair to dedicate the number one spot on this list to Black Sabbath themselves.

Over their decades-long existence, cycling in and out more members than you could ever hope to keep track of, the godfathers of heavy metal have released 19 different studio albums.

Whilst all the big ones have found their way onto the world's most popular music platform, one that slipped through the cracks is 1989's Headless Cross.

With Iommi on guitar, Tony Martin on vocals, and legendary drummer Cozy Powell behind the kit, Headless Cross has got plenty of fantastic music on it, but nothing quite stands up to the song When Death Calls.

At almost seven minutes long, When Death Calls takes you on a long, twisted journey through the world of Sabbath. Starting off slow and building to a huge crescendo, the song absolutely explodes into life and rounds off the first side of the LP with a bang.

It even features a guitar solo from the icon that is Brian May. If that won't convince you to buy the CD, nothing will.
