10 Hard Rock Bands That Should Be In The Hall Of Fame (But Aren't)

1. Motorhead

At least Iron Maiden have been nominated for the Hall of Fame three times over the years. At least they stand a strong chance of going in this year.

Motorhead have been nominated just once, forty-five years after their debut release.

That is a disgrace.

Born from Lemmy Kilmister leaving the band Hawkwind, Motorhead were created with one thing in mind - to make very loud music.

With Lemmy on bass, "Fast" Eddie Clarke on guitar, and Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor on drums, Motorhead laid waste to the rock scene with humongous tracks that are just as ear-splitting now as they were several decades ago.

Overkill, Bomber, Killed By Death, frickin' Ace of Spades. What more do these guys have to do to get nominated? Bring Lemmy back from the grave?

For their influence on the hard rock scene and their status as one of the most iconic rock bands of all time, Motorhead need to go in the Hall of Fame and they need to go in now.

Also, it's equally disgraceful that they aren't in the WWE Hall of Fame despite contributing some of the greatest wrestler entrance songs of all time.

But that's a topic for another time...
