10 Most Overrated Rock Albums Of The 2000s

7. Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water - Limp Bizkit (2000)

D*ck jokes, references to butt-holes and a whole plethora of immature, chauvinistic sentiments. This album was exactly what the youth of the day wanted. It went 4x platinum within two months of its release, which only served to reflect the poor state of society.

This album is filled with Durst hurling hate at just about everybody he comes into contact with - whether it's an ex girlfriend, or a fellow musician. His lyrics read like the twisted reflections of some surly teenager who thinks the whole world is against them. Counting the times he threatens to knock someone 'the f*ck out' or insists they shut their '!*$%ing mouth' is almost a wasted effort - it comes up a lot. Although, Rollin' and My Generation, served as fun nu metal, middle fingers to your parents, that's about the extent of this albums virtues.

It is somewhat impressive that Durst managed to cram the word 'f*ck' 46 times into one track, but then he proceeds to tell you how rad that makes him... If you want to listen to a guy espouse his own virtues, and everyone else's faults, for 75 minutes then this album is for you...
